We are getting in the Christmas spirit. This past week/weekend we went to pick out our tree. We didn't have a tree last year becuase we were traveling, but this year it seemed wrong not to get one for Jackson's first Christmas.
As you can see from the picture it was a big deal for him too. He could hardly contain his excitement.

Still even in his sleep he managed to find the perfect tree. What can we say? The kid has got impecable taste.

It took us almost a week to find the time to get it decorated. As you might imagine, when have a baby takes a lot of time to do even the most mundane tasks. So, finding time for something as momentous as Baby's first Christmas tree is no small feat. No matter though, even without decorations the tree was lovely in our livingroom.
We finally got the chance to decorate on Sunday evening. We turned on some Christmas music, dragged out all the ornaments, checked each strand of lights then when we were ready to go Jackson began to cry! Obviously he was not impressed with this process. Still, the mommies forged on and we actually ended up having a good time. Jackson even stopped fussing long enough to watch us put the angel on top. We think the end product was well worth the wait.

As you can see in the bottom of the picture Tybalt also approves of the Christmas Tree :)
In other news. We are experiencing Christmas-like weather. We finally got around to buying our snow blower. The one we intended to get in august so we'd have it before the baby and the snow arrived. Oh well, we've got it now, and only had about 4 inches of snow. Here is Rachel putting the beast of a machine to good use.
