Though we are far away we want to make sure we stay in touch and keep everyone updated on what's going on in Western New York. Please feel free to post your own comments and send us notes.

4th of July

We headed to Illinois for the 4th of July and made our first stop in Pana. For the first time in years, it wasn't stinkin' hot. We spent most of the day in the pool at Uncle Geoff's and Aunt Chris'. Jackson would have stayed in the water all day, but it actually turned chilly, so we made him get out.

We had a great time seeing everyone, and there was quite a crowd. Camy was there of course.

So were Grandma Rosie and Jackson's great aunt Foxy. :)
Grandma and Grandpa Burris were up from Florida, and the Littlejohns were there too, though they somehow managed to dodge the camera.
New big brother Kadyn came by for awhile. Here he is with his grandpa Darren.

We played washers and wiffle ball (Susie made the play of the game) and ate tons of fantastic food. Then there were fireworks to be shot off. Jackson wasn't bothered a bit by the loud noises, and he just loved being the center of attention. Here he is in Uncle Geoff's hat.

That night we stayed at our favorite BnB, and the next morning Aunt Deb made an amazing breakfast.
Jackson got in a little more play time with Uncle Dern Dern.

Then he had to pose for pictures with Great Grandma and Grandpa.

Then we were on the road again. Off to Carlinville.
