Carlinville Baby Shower

We had another baby shower while in Carlinville last weekend, and not surprisingly it was another big hit. Event planner extraordinaire, Mom Spangler, along with the help of GG-ma Rosie and Tia Dana, made it a great afternoon for everyone involved. We had food, we played games, and we got tons of great presents. What more could you ask for?

Susie didn't use her guest of honor status to get any special privileges though; she chose to sit at the kids' table. It was good practice for when Jackson gets a little older. As you can see, Sydney, Tucker, Gabe, and Ashley were all there looking ever so stylish and keeping us all entertained.
Ashley was a big help with the presents, organizing them and keeping them all close at hand during the opening process.


Gabe also couldn't contain himself with all the present opening going on, edging closer and closer with each one, until he was on Rachel's lap and giving us a running commentary on everything we were getting for baby Jackson. Of course he was not too busy to pause for his close-up. Isn't he cute?

After the presents it was time for the masterpiece that is an Angie Levora cake.

It was a wonderful afternoon spent with great company. We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends, and Jackson is blessed to have so many people making sure he has everything he needs!
