WWJD?
So, we have this bathroom (see September 2006 archives) that is becoming unbearable. Whoever designed it, well, let's just say he either 1) wasn't tall or 2) wanted to make it very easy on the plumber. We have tried to send it off to HGTV for them to fix, but they want none of it. What we need is to have different people tell us what they would do with the space and how much it would cost to do it. Is anyone up to the challenge? Jerry? Darren? Here are pictures and details so you can make your plans:
This is the main wall--all the plumbing is in one convenient location. Measurements: widest part of the wall is 6'10". The shower is 2 feet wide and 4'10" long. From the top of the slant (see below), the wall is 4'8"ish. The mirror with the lav and stool underneath is 4'4".

Hideous, no?

If you turn right, you'll see this:
The measurement from the wall to the door (just to the right of this picture) is 3'5".
Beyond the door (turm right again) is this area:
From doorframe to wall--2'10".
Wall to Window--1'9"
Note the heat vent near the floor. There is also an outlet on the right side of the towel rack and the light switch on the left. If you broke through the wall with the towel rack on it, you'd be in the hall closet (see May 19th post). The hall closet measures 3' wide x 2'7" deep.
Past the window (keep going right) is this:
This is a storage space with the same slanted wall as the shower, drawers below and sliding doors above. Measurements: 3'9" wide and about 2' deep at the bottom. Immediately to the right is the shower, and you're back to the beginning.
The entire bathroom is 9'6" x 6'10". So, use your imagination--what is possible with this space? And more importantly, how much would it cost? And most importantly, when could you come out and do it (free accomodations). All reasonable offers will be considered.

You need a miracle.....or another whole room to make a bathroom - this needs to go back to being a small closet!!
