Christmas (Part 3)
Christmas morning we all woke up at Grandma and Grandpa Spangler's house all set to opening presents right away. The grandparents took turns holding Jackie while we all sifted through a mountain of presents.

Jackson got some very cool Cardinals gear and a big yellow wagon. He won't be able to enjoy it fully for awhile, but he did take it out for a little test spin.
Rachel and Danny also got a very special present from an Angel. Mom and Dad passed down St. Christopher's medals that had been given to Dad from Grandma Spangler. Rachel put hers on right then and hasn't taken if off.
That afternoon we made a quick stop off in Hillsboro to see Susie's extended family before heading on to Pana. The Burris clan was in full swing playing with Camy's new Wii. We had an amazing meal and homemade wine. It was a full house, and Jackson loved watching all the people.

It was a very exciting day and a wonderful first Christmas. Even though Jackson is much too young to understand what was going on, his moms will remember the holiday forever.

He made the rounds, spending a little time with everyone who wanted to hold him. His mommies hardly saw him all day. Here we are all with GG-Pa Larry.

I got the materials you sent, Susan. Thanks for sending those out. I was kind of fun getting mail sent to "Professor Smith." :)
I'll take a look at them this weekend and let you know what I think.
P.S. Rachel, I'm digging your hair cut in the Christmas pics. It's pretty much the same... But a little different, ya know?
