North Carolina (Part 4)
With all the formalities of the trip out of the way, we got to kick back and enjoy the rest of our visit, starting with a Wii tournament.

Shane and Jackson hung out for a while, which gave the mommies a chance to play a little bit.
Susie put the hurt on Gary in a tennis match. She always pretends like she is uninterested in anything competitive, then she steps up and lays the smack down. She's like the Wii shark.

Rach was doing well against Joseph here, but she fell to a horrible Wiijury. She didn't leave enough room between herself and the counter for her back swing and cracked her hand with a hit that dropped her to her knees. Everyone was laughing too hard to check and see if she was ok. That's friendship for you.

Then Will got up, and despite the fact that he swings like a total goofball, he schooled us all. Who woulda thunk it?

After the tournament we spend the rest of the week recouping and hanging out with Will. We shopped, we cooked, played the piano/sang songs. It was a great visit, and by the time the week was over, everyone was exhausted.

We did make one more stop in Durham before we flew out. When we had flown in, the great Georgia Beers was flying out, so she didn't get to meet Jackson. She was back the day we were leaving, so we all got together for lunch. Our friend Brandi came along to meet Georgia, and Toni drove over to see Jackson one more time. We laughed for an hour solid. It was a great way to wrap up the trip. We can't wait to see everyone again in May.
