War of the Wallpaper

Hello All,

So we've had another wild week of stripping wallpaper. The bottom layer has proven to be quite stubborn and it's been a battle. Some timeswe aren't sure if we scraping more paper off the walls or skin off our knuckles. Here are some pitcures of our foyer and stairwell. It's not pretty, but we still think that even like this it's an imporovment on the ugly green ferns that were there before.




The upstairs was a lot easier to scrap. The walls as you can see are concerete or something similar to it.



Finally, we are having to creatively deal with the wallpaper in those hard to reach spaces in the landing of the stairs. We fully expected to title this final picture "Why Susie is wearing a cast."


She insists that this set up is totally safe and she even wants to put a ladder on top of it so she can reach all the way up. All I can say is please pray for us.



We will continue with the stripping and then move on to a dry wall project that should prove to be loads of fun, so stay tuned.
