Family Breakfast
We headed to Illinois for a business trip for Rach, and got to take a few extra days to swing by Carlinville. While we were there, we got to enjoy a Spangler Family Breakfast. For those of you unfamiliar with these events, the Spangler side of the family gets together from time to time for a big breakfast and a chance to catch up with everyone. The tradition was started by Grandma and Grandpa Spangler at their house and now it is continued by their kids, who rotate hosting duties.

Aiden came over for a closer look at one point but he decided breakfast was much more interesting so he decided to sit on his Grandma Debbie's (his grandma Debbie, not Jackson's grandma Debbie) lap for awhile.
Aiden doesn't really need any more babies in his life anyway. He has a baby brother, Tanner who was there sporting his Elmo snow suit.

Jackson loved the event because it meant that there were lots of people to watch and make a big fuss over him. He was especially enamoured with Sydney. He stared at her for quite a long time, batting his eyelashes and giving her the biggest smiles.
He was also intrigued by the room filled with cousins and all kinds of cool toys. From left to right here is Tucker, Austin, Gabe, Fin (facing the other way) and Aiden. Rach was just about to snap this shot when Gabe said "Uh, Uncle Spanky already took that picture!" Apparently there is a one shot per angle limit :)
Jackson will have to wait another year to two before he can play with the other boys there, but he still liked to watch. In fact he go so worn out playing vicariously that he fell asleep on Sasha.
It was so good to see everyone and get caught up. We can't wait to do it all again at Easter!
