We had less than two weeks of down time between the boys' visit and our trip back to Illinois, but we did take some cute pictures during that time, so we thought we'd give you a little update on some of the more mundane aspects of our lives.

Jackson has started sitting in his Bumbo seat, as you can see. In fact, in this picture he is intently watching the Super Bowl. He was very excited for the Giants and sat there cheering them on (in his mind) from his Bumbo for at least 3/4 of the game.

Another favorite sitting spot is his Boppy. As you can see, it is a little softer than the Bumbo and therefore is more conducive to falling asleep in. Isn't that just the sweetest thing ?


Finally, Jackson loves his bath. He loves it so much that he gets very happy every time we strip him down to his diaper. When he got him undressed at the doctor's office he was just about giddy. He wanted to play, play, play.

The poor boy was just about devastated when instead of a bath he got 3 shots. Still, he was quite the trooper and had stopped crying before the nurse was even out of the room.

Overall he is a very happy baby. He is becoming more playful every day and starting to really interact with us. One of his favorite activities is being held up in the air and then lowered down onto a big squeaky kiss. This picture doesn't give you the total effect, but it is as close as we could get.

He also a little extrovert who loves to be around big groups of people, which means he has a great time when we travel. More on that to come!
