Ptown (Part 3)
The rest of Saturday was spent at a group signing, where there was more goofing off. Seriously, it looks like Rach is working so hard, doesn't it?
Above is Rach with Carsen Taite and VK Powell. Below, she is with one of her favorite comedians, Kate Clinton, who just happened to drop in on the signing.
After the signing, there was one more group reading where this time Rachel's height got her into trouble. She wasn't tall enough to be seen over the crowd, so they made her read standing on a chair. Of course, her fellow authors couldn't let that go unharassed.
That evening we had a party with the entire Bold Strokes Books crew, and they were so sweet to us that they got a cake to celebrate Jackson's impending birthday, and everyone sang to him.
The little prince had quite the trip as well and got photographed constantly. Here are two of our favorites. This one is of him getting sleepy.
They spoil Jackson to no end, of course, but they also spoiled his mommies too, since they baby sat one night so we could go out on the town.

Here he is playing in Toni and Tosh's courtyard.
Sunday morning was spent hanging out with Aunt Toni and Aunt Tosh before we had to get on the road. One of the very best parts of Ptown was getting to spend a little time with them. We ended up at their condo a few mornings in a row because they were making grits :)
We were very sad to say goodbye to Ptown and all our friends. We were already planning our return trip before we were even off the Cape.
