Baby Spangler!
Hello Friends and Family,

As many of you have been learning this week, Susie and Rachel are expecting their first child!
Rachel is currently 10 weeks pregnant and despite some pretty terrible morning (read: all day) sickness doing well. We had our first doctor's visit two weeks ago, where we found out the baby is due on October 24th. We also got to hear the baby's heartbeat and see the baby via sonogram. It was a truly amazing experience.
Susie scanned the sonogram pictures so we could share them with you. For those of you who aren't familiar with reading this type of sonogram, the baby is the little gray blurb in the black circle towards the top of the picture. To the left is the head and the body flows to the right. Off to either side you can just make out the tiny little arms and legs.

Right now in the 10th week the baby is a about 1.5 inches long and about the size of a medium shrimp. It already has fingers and toes and is developing facial features. We'll keep you posted as things continue to develop.
Love you all,
Rach and Suz
