Halloween

Since Jackson's birthday is so close to Halloween, we got the added benefit of having Nana, Paw Paw and Big Papi Will all around to help us with Jackson's first pumpkin carving.

Jackson was interested in the pumpkin the minute we set it on the table.

He thought it was even better when we cut it open. He couldn't get enough of the guts. We had to scoop it all out, and then he put it back in so he could take it out again.

When we finally wrestled it away from him long enough to carve it, he watched with rapt attention. We think he was pretty happy with his first Jack-o-lantern.

On Halloween Jackson got dressed up as a penguin, and I know we are biased, but isn't he the cutest penguin ever.

We went trick or treating to a few houses and Jackson did a great job of keeping his penguin hat on.

He really liked watching all the other kids come by in their costumes, so we ended up playing outside for quite a while.



Between the pumpkin, and the penguin, and having family here to help celebrate, we think it is safe to say that Jackson had the best Halloween ever.
