Nana and Pawpaw Vist

Nana and Pawpaw came out to visit in April. They got here on a Friday, and by that night Rach had the flu. It wasn't pretty, but we were glad to have them here so they could take care of Jackson. They had a great time playing with him, and he had a blast with them, but we were too busy being sick to get many pictures.

By Sunday we did all get outside for a cookout with our friends, the Strauss/Singers. Nana was a big hit with Etta. They played bubbles together before Jackson commandeered the wand.

He was quickly diverted, though, by the opportunity to show off his baseball skills to Pawpaw. He especially liked that he and Pawpaw both had Cardinals hats.

After we all got our share of play time in, we headed out back for a picnic. Pawpaw was the grill master, and the kids were excited to have their own table. Well, Etta loved eating at the table, Jackson loved the fact that he wasn't strapped in and could make a break for it any time he wanted to, as evidenced by the empty chair below.

Nana and Pawpaw's visit was too quick and we were too sick to enjoy it fully, so we're looking forward to seeing them again in Illinois for Memorial Day weekend.
