Illinois - Post Christmas

Things started to get back to normal after Christmas. We visited Gram as usual on Saturday, and Jackie couldn't get enough cheez doodles.

Aunt Diva entertained Jackie by drawing on his new magnetic drawing board.

Jackie counted down the hallway races with "on your mark, get set, go!" with his hands over his mouth.

Later in the week, we finally got some snow, and Jackson built his first real snowman of the year with Bella's help.

Our cousins from Florida, Billy and Abbie, got their first taste of sledding at ages 16 and 18. Cami, a pro sledder at age 8, schooled them in a race.

Rachel and Jackie got in on the fun, too!

Later in the week, we got to visit GG-ma Rose in Taylorville, for lunch. The meat loaf was excellent!

Rachel showed up Susie's snowman-making skills with this life-size version.

Nana and PawPaw helped decorate "Elton" with a fashionable scarf.

Gram got one more visit in before we had to leave.

On January 1, our last night in Carlinville, our friend Dana got married in a lovely ceremony. She was a beautiful bride.

Dana and David shared their first dance as a married couple to "Danny's Song."
