Thanksgiving Trip

Jackson loves to play with sunglasses, and here he does his best Bono imitation for PawPaw.

Due to the cold weather in Carlinville over Thanksgiving, Jackson got to try on Uncle Bubby's snowboarding hat. It looks surprisingly good on him, and he calls it his "spiderman hat."

Though Jackson has never played raquetball, he sure looks good in the protective eyewear!

The main event over Thanksgiving Break was dinner at Bella and Grandpa's, of course. Jackson worked up an appetite by racing his cars down the ramp.

Here, Jackson makes sure his high chair is in proper working order with a pre-dinner snack.

Aunt Diva checked in with Jackson as he enjoyed his pear appetizer, much to his delight.

Jackson loved playing with Gram's walker while we waited for guests to arrive.

Finally it was time to start dinner. Jackson couldn't get enough noodles.


Bella read Jackson's new favorite, Skippyjon Jones later in the evening.

Back at Nana and PawPaw's, Jackson entertained Uncle Bubby.

Nana made a turkey dinner for the Spangler family on Saturday. Boy, was it good!

While we were in town, we got to see Ashley and Carl. Jackson loves his "Ashy."

She seems to like Jackson, too.

One of the most exciting events for Jackie was his first trip to the Macoupin County Courthouse. Every time we pass by there now, he reminds us that PawPaw took him up all those steps.

At Gram's on Saturday, Jackson got to play with Lori Beth one more time.


We also got a pic of the whole Bloome family. You know that Jackson doesn't get his picture taken very often, so it was amazing that we got such a good shot.

We can't wait for Christmas when we'll get to visit for two weeks!
