Illinois Trip (Pre-Christmas)
Before we went to Carlinville, we stopped in Bloomington to see friends from our ISU glory days. Unfortunately, many of them were already out of town, but we still managed to stay busy. Jackson loved playing in the children's museum in town. Here he is pretending to be a farmer.

We got to pretend we were worms and crawl through a compost pile--FUN!!!

The painting area is cool because of the clear glass that you can squeegie off when you're through.
The museum wore us out, so that night we just chilled in the hotel with some Papa John's.
Jackson got to visit with Uncle Tom and Aunt Claire, who showed off her Christmas tree.
