Daily Living
In the midst of all our trips and big events, we have managed to have some more normal days here and there. The weather has turned nice, so we have been taking lots of walks. We also go to sporting events at the college every chance we get. We have been to several baseball games.
The games don't hold his interest for long unless there are a lot of plays at the plate, but he loves to be outside. As you can see, he has all the proper attire in his Fredonia sweatshirt and baseball cap.
We go to lacrosse games, too, and he really likes those because there is a lot of running back and forth for him to follow along with, but we can't really sit in the stands because he gets scared when the crowd goes wild.

Last weekend our big adventure was a trip up to Buffalo. We were trying to find something to cover up our fireplace, and while we didn't find that, we did find an activity gym for Jackson. It is quite the contraption, which one friend said looks like a lunar lander. It was a little complex to put together. Jackson helped with the directions though, so mommy Rach could get the frame assembled.
Mommy Susie put together the spinning/bouncing seat.
Then we were all exhausted and needed to take a break.
Finally everything came together, and Jackson has been playing in it ever since. All the assembly was well worth it since Jackson loves it and it buys the moms some much needed time to not be entertaining him.
He has also started to have some of his little friends over to play. First, Ben came to visit for an afternoon. Ben is just two weeks older than Jackson, so his mom went through all the pregnancy stuff with us. Now the boys are getting to know each other. They didn't hardly know what to make of having another little person around. Isn't this shot of them holding hands just too cute?!
Remember Cal, who we used to babysit as our "practice baby" before Jackson was born? Well he is growing so fast, and oh so cute. He and his dad came over this week, and Cal was crawling all over the place and even pulling up. We had a hard time getting a good picture of the boys together because Cal kept taking off on us. We now have 4 pictures of Jackson and just Cal's butt as he crawled out of the shot. We did manage to get them both in the same frame.
