Easter Trip (Part 3)

The rest of our week in Carlinville was spent catching up with our families and friends. The Albertines showed up one afternoon right at feeding time, and the girls got to take turns giving Jackson his bottle. Now he will love them forever.

We spent most of our morning with the Bloomes where Jackie got to play with Bella and Grandpa. He and Grandpa Harry can't wait until he is old enough for them to go fishing together.

We also had dinner with Aunt Diva and Uncle Jerry. We always eat so well in Illinois, and that night was no exception. Dinner was fantastic, and Jackson has a great time showing off .

We spent most of our evenings with Grandma and Pawpaw. Jackson loved sitting in their front room and watching all the cars go by.

He also got to ride Bucky the Wonder Horse, which has been handed down in the family for a few generations now.

He also spent some quality time with Grandma, who likes to change diapers. Now that is something you don't find often, and his mommies were very happy to let her have her fun in that department. Still, we have a rule about not posting pictures of those types of things, so here is an Internet appropriate one.

Jackson also got a chance to meet his Great Great Aunt Sannie. Aunt Sannie is Grandma Spangler's sister, so she is a "Justice," which is where Jackson's middle name comes from. She brought over pictures from when she and Grandma were babies. It was very neat to see Jackson's resemblance to grandma. In fact, we all look very much like Justices.

That Friday we headed over to Pana to see the Burris's. We got to stay at our favorite B&B and eat Maustell's pizza. Jackson also got to hang out with MeMe, which he always enjoys.
From there it was off to Bloomington for a quick visit with some friends. Jackie got to play with Aunt Marcy (or should we say Dr. Aunt Marcy) and is very much looking forward to her graduation in a few weeks!
